Junior HR Business Partner

As a Junior HR Business Partner for Green Jade Games, you will be responsible will work closely with Managers across the Company to act as the point of people expertise. This role is to help the Company to identify and attract suitable candidates through effective employee relations and building relationships across the business, working at a strategic and operational level, and driving business initiatives.

Job Duties

  • Assist in the search into, and the recruitment of, new talent to join Green Jade Games.
  • Filter and refine candidate options to a minimal number and conduct the screening interviews to eliminate further.
  • Send out and track assignments set before, or after the interview stage.
  • Coordinate the scheduling and creation of the interviews.
  • Perform the reference checks on candidates who have successfully completed an interview process.
  • Liaise with and develop relationships with recruitment agencies to maximise the quality and options of candidates referred to an open role with Green Jade Games.
  • Lead introduction into the company on first day(s) of new starter, including equipment set up and account access, etc.
  • Follow up with new employees to check on their first week’s well-being and ability to settle into the company.
  • Assist in the coordination of company wide events ranging from recurring weekly meetings to annual gatherings.
  • Welcome visitors to the Malta office and settle them when they attend a scheduled meeting with a GJG colleague.
  • Book attendance at industry events applicable staff wish to attend.
  • Support the Finance and Administration Manager in the preparation of documentation for regular audits whether personal or business documents.
  • Determine selection criteria for candidates by liaising with managers and other members of staff.
  • Source applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn and other professional networks.
  • Create job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position.
  • Identify and whittle down the most suitable talent from available candidates.
  • Maintain physical and electronic filing systems, ensuring processes and applicable software are up to date and in working order.
